Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have taken a drastic step in their ongoing battle with the British media, blacklisting four major tabloids for publishing distorted, false, and invasive stories.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have accused The Sun, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, and Daily Express of engaging in such behavior, which they claim has caused them significant distress.

According to a letter sent to the editors of these publications, the couple has adopted a new policy of 'no corroboration and zero engagement' with these outlets, effectively cutting ties with them.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been at odds with the media since their high-profile wedding in 2018, with the couple taking legal action against several publications for allegedly publishing intrusive and unfair reports about them.

One such case involves a letter written by Meghan Markle to her father, Thomas Markle, which was published in the Mail on Sunday without her consent. The couple claims that the newspaper intentionally distorted the meaning of the letter, which detailed her intimate thoughts and feelings about her father's health and relationship with her.

Associated Newspapers, which publishes the Mail on Sunday, denies that the contents of the letter were private or confidential, with Thomas Markle stating that he felt pressured to share the letter after its contents were misrepresented in a magazine article.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to blacklist these tabloids has sparked a heated debate, with some critics accusing them of censorship and others defending their right to protect themselves from invasive reporting.
