Kenya Declares COVID-19 a National Health Emergency

The Kenyan government has declared COVID-19 a national health emergency, affecting residents in Machakos, Kajiado, Muranga, and Kiambu counties.

According to a video announcement by the Ministry of Health, the declaration aims to raise awareness and prevent the spread of the virus.

The announcement comes as 11 more people have been confirmed to have contracted the virus in Kenya.
