Kenya has recorded 281 confirmed cases of coronavirus, with the epicenter of the virus being Nairobi County, which has 200 cases.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe warned counties bordering Nairobi that their responsibility is high to guard against the spread of the virus.
On April 20, 2020, Kagwe singled out counties of Machakos, Kajiado, Kiambu, and Murang'a as high-risk areas, with seven people testing positive in Machakos, and one case each in Athi River, Kamulu, Rubi Garden Estate, Kithunguni, and Viraji.
He also warned that counties in the neighborhood of Nairobi have a special responsibility to guard against the spread of the virus, saying 'Coronavirus is not a Nairobi disease, it's something in the neighborhood carried around by your brother, sister, or friend.'
