Kenya's Covid-19 cases have risen to 281 after 11 more people tested positive for the virus.

According to Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, two patients, including a doctor, have recovered from the virus. A second doctor who contracted the virus is currently receiving treatment.

Of the confirmed cases, seven are Kenyans from Mombasa and four are from Nairobi's Ruaka area. The cases include five females and six males.

A Mombasa herbalist who succumbed to the virus infected three people he was treating, who are among the latest cases reported.

As of now, a total of 13,872 people have been tested for the virus.
