As Kenya grapples with unpredictable power outages, health facilities and essential service providers are being urged to consider solar energy options to avoid disruptions.
On April 19, 2020, Masogo Sub-County Hospital in Kenya received a donation of solar panels from d.light Solar Solutions Kenya, a leading solar solutions provider in the country.
According to Geoffrey Ocheche, the hospital's administrator, the solar panels will enable them to deliver services without fail, particularly to expectant mothers who require round-the-clock care.
"We are extremely grateful to d.light for this donation, especially during this challenging time," Ocheche said.
