On January 13, 2020, media personality Pinky Ghelani marked her 13th marriage anniversary with a heartfelt post on social media, reflecting on the challenges she and her husband Raj Sehmi have faced over the years.

Among the difficulties they've overcome are the loss of a pregnancy, Raj's father succumbing to cancer, and Pinky's mother suffering a stroke.

"I had no idea what can change in 13 years," Pinky posted, sharing the pain and struggles they've endured. "We lost pregnancies, we lost his dad to cancer, mum had a stroke."

Despite these challenges, Pinky and Raj have found joy and growth in their relationship, becoming parents and learning to understand each other better.

"There's so much growth that occurs when you face the ups and downs of life together," Pinky noted. "We understand each other more. It's not that we don't fight, we do. But we also laugh a lot."

When asked for her secrets to a happy marriage, Pinky shared her honest perspective: "There's no secret or trick in staying married... I wouldn't say there's a method. So many of you have messaged to ask me.. but honestly.. there's no one way in making a marriage work. You need to find your ebb and flow, you need to know yourself but most importantly you need to be happy."
