On January 15, 2020, gospel singer Size 8 gave birth to her second child at RFH healthcare in Ruai, Nairobi County, in a miraculous turn of events that saved both her life and that of her baby.
According to Size 8, she was rushed into the NICU unit at RFH healthcare due to complications, with her baby born weeks before the expected due date. In a social media post, she expressed her gratitude to the doctors and medical staff who saved her and her baby's lives.
"GOD IS GOD ALONE HE NEVER CHANGES EVEN IN OUR DARKEST MOMENTS, HE IS UNCHANGEABLE!!!! HE DOES THE GREATEST MIRACLE IN OUR DARKEST MOMENTS!!!!!" Size 8 wrote, thanking Dr. Opondo, Nurse Lucy, and ICU Nurse Thomas for their tireless efforts.
