Meet Amar Jonathan, a Kenyan fashion influencer who has taken the industry by storm. With a following of thousands, he has become a household name, especially after winning the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFA) 'Male Fashionista of the Year' for two consecutive years (2018 and 2019).

But what drives this young man's passion for fashion? In an exclusive interview with Nyakundi Report, Amar Jonathan opens up about his journey, struggles, and what inspires him to be a fashion icon.

According to Amar, his love for fashion started when he was young. He would often receive compliments on his dressing sense, but it wasn't something he did consciously. However, after a heartbreak in 2017, Amar turned to fashion as a way to cope with his emotions. He started taking photos of himself in nice clothes and posting them on social media, which eventually led to him becoming a fashion influencer.

Today, Amar is a sought-after influencer, working with top brands and designers. He has also been featured in several fashion events and has become a style icon in Kenya. But despite his success, Amar remains humble and grounded, crediting his fans for his rise to fame.

When asked about his fashion sense, Amar revealed that he draws inspiration from various sources, including South African and Nigerian fashion. He also admires the style of Denola Gray, a Nigerian fashion icon.

As for his future plans, Amar is working on a unisex cardigan line, inspired by French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing's Balmain designs. He also hopes to venture into screen time in the future, collaborating with fellow influencer Neomi Ng'ang'a.

With his passion for fashion and his dedication to his craft, Amar Jonathan is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with in the industry. As he continues to inspire and influence his fans, one thing is certain - he will remain a fashion icon for years to come.
