Man Accused of Beheading Wife in Molo Ordered for Mental Assessment

On December 31, 2019, a gruesome incident shook Molo town when a man allegedly beheaded his wife at her salon.

According to a police report, Mr. Joseph Ngigi, the accused, used a machete to chop off his wife's head after a quarrel.

Justice Joel Ngugi of the High Court in Nakuru has since directed that Mr. Ngigi undergoes mental tests to confirm his fitness to stand trial.
