January 14, 2020 - National Super League side Migori Youth FC has made significant strides in its bid to secure promotion to the Kenya Premier League next season by signing six new players.
The new signings include Evance Ajema from FKF Division One side Sindo United, Kevin Haggai from St Peters Mumias, who has been promoted from the club academy, and Mark Ochieng from Awasi Secondary School.
Migori Youth FC Chairman Abdi Azizi explained that the team's philosophy is to play with a younger and more energetic squad, with a focus on nurturing and promoting local talents.
"We went for the youth in this mid window for our philosophy is to play with a youger and energetic squad. We also want to nurture and promote local talents just as we did for the likes of Enock Agwanda who started here," Aziz said.
