As one of the pioneers of Genge Tone, Jua Cali has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on Kenyan music. In the early 2000s, he, along with Nonini and other artists, revolutionized the industry and took it to new heights.

However, as music evolves, some fans feel that Jua Cali should retire and create space for the next generation of artists. This sentiment gained momentum after he collaborated with Ethic in 2019, who brought a new wave of energy to the music scene.

According to sources, Jua Cali has been working on a full album with young musicians, but his fans are demanding something different. In a series of tweets, a fan named Phero254 expressed his disappointment, stating that he stopped listening to Jua Cali's music when he started featuring kids in his songs.

"I stopped listening to your music the moment you started featuring kids in your songs." - Phero254

Despite the criticism, Jua Cali is not ready to give up on his career. In a recent response, he revealed that his fans and haters will be hearing more bangers from him in 2020.
