La Parka, a legendary Mexican wrestler known for his unique skeleton mask, tragically passed away on January 12, 2020, after suffering a devastating neck and spinal cord injury during an in-ring stunt in October 2019.

According to reports, La Parka, whose real name was Jesús Alfonso Escoboza Huerta, was leaping through the ropes at an opponent outside the ring when he missed and hit his head on a guardrail, then the floor.

Life-saving surgery was performed on the wrestler, but unfortunately, he was left paralyzed. His condition further deteriorated as he began to experience kidney issues, ultimately leading to his death from lung and kidney failure.

Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide confirmed the news of La Parka's death, expressing their condolences to his family and fans.

La Parka made his in-ring debut at the age of 21 in 1987, working as 'Bello Sexy.' He went on to become a beloved figure in the world of Mexican wrestling, with many superstars and fans taking to social media to share their condolences.

As the wrestling community mourns the loss of this legendary wrestler, the National Wrestling Alliance sends its deepest sympathies to La Parka's friends, family, and fans.
