Uhuru Fires Mwangi Kiunjuri as Agriculture CS Amid Locust Invasion ¶

President Uhuru Kenyatta has dropped Mwangi Kiunjuri as Agriculture Cabinet Secretary in a new raft of changes, sparking widespread reactions on social media.
The move comes amid the ongoing locust invasion in some parts of the country, with many netizens believing that Kiunjuri's failure to control the locusts was one of the reasons for his sacking.
Kiunjuri is also the only Minister from Mt Kenya who has been seen to be supporting Deputy President William Ruto.
He has been replaced by Peter Munya, who will now take over as the new Agriculture CS.
Other ministers who have been fired include Industrialization CS Adan Mohammed.
