Challenges of Being a Power Couple on TV ¶
Working together as a power couple on TV comes with its fair share of challenges, as Lulu Hassan and her husband Rashid Abdalla have discovered.
As one of the most admired and envied TV couples on our local screens, they have set a high bar for others to follow.
However, this fame and status also bring their own set of challenges, as Lulu Hassan recently revealed in an interview with Millard Ayo.
According to Lulu, most fans and viewers tune into their bulletins not to get the content, but to gather information about their marriage.
"First off all congratulations for asking that question, no one has ever asked. There are challenges. For instance, most people would watch news with a third eye. Some will watch to find out if we fought at home or we are good," Lulu stated.
She added that when presenting sad news, they cannot smile, but to fans and viewers, they think they are not happy with each other due to their domestic issue, which is not the case.
Despite these challenges, Lulu and Rashid run a film production company together, showing that their partnership extends beyond the TV screens.
