Pastor's Infidelity Sparks Mob Violence in Embu

On a Monday in February 2016, a pastor in Embu, Kenya, found himself at the receiving end of a violent mob after being caught in a compromising position with another man's wife.

According to eyewitnesses, the pastor's vehicle was stoned, with the man of the cloth being hit on the forehead.

Police, led by Embu West police boss Francis Sang', had to intervene to rescue the pastor, who ministers at Ena and Nembure shopping centres in the town.

The incident has left many questioning the actions of the pastor, who is said to be a trusted evangelist in the community.

As reported by jihami in December 2015, a similar incident occurred in Tanners Estate in Mbale, where a 56-year-old man was found stuck with his sister-in-law at a lodge.

The man's wife, Margaret Nabwire, had sought the help of Mugwenu's witchcraft to bust her philandering husband.

However, Mugwenu's methods have been met with controversy, with some accusing him of taking advantage of desperate individuals.

Despite the controversy, Mugwenu's services remain in high demand, with many turning to him for help in dealing with cheating partners.
