On December 10th, 2020, Muthoni, an accountant from Mombasa, visited her rural home in Busia County, only to find her husband, Philip, with another woman. The incident left her feeling defeated and forced to seek refuge in her neighbor's home.
However, Muthoni refused to give up on her marriage and sought help from a traditional healer, Dr. Mugwenu. She revealed that she had been seeing Dr. Mugwenu's contact information on television and newspapers and decided to reach out to him.
According to Muthoni, Dr. Mugwenu assured her that he would help her resolve the issue, and in just three days, she received a call from her husband, who had traveled to Mombasa to see her. He had sent her Sh 5,000 for lunch and begged her to meet him. The reason being, the woman he was with at home had tried to stab him with a knife before he escaped narrowly over a small quarrel.
