Bungoma County senator Moses Wetangula has found himself in a precarious situation after his wife threatened to unleash violence on him if he dared oppose the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.

According to Wetangula, his wife's ultimatum left him feeling like his end had come, and he confessed that he felt threatened by her actions.

Wetangula, a former Senate minority leader, stated that he had the right to make independent decisions, but his wife's love for violence made him take her threats seriously.

He expressed his fears that his political adversaries, including Prime Minister Raila Odinga, had connived with his wife to frustrate his decision on the BBI report.

Wetangula's marital challenges have been a subject of speculation, with his wife being notorious for beating him up whenever she felt like.

He revealed that he was not fully in agreement with the BBI report and that no one, including his wife, would succeed in coercing him to embrace it against his will.
