January 13, 2020 - Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy XCover Pro, a rugged smartphone designed for frontline workers in industries worldwide.

The Galaxy XCover Pro boasts a premium design that balances style and productivity, building on Samsung's legacy of Galaxy smartphones.

Key features include an immersive display, long-lasting 4,050mAh battery, and protection by the Samsung Knox security platform.

The device is enhanced with unique partner-enabled mobility solutions, including integration with Microsoft Teams' walkie-talkie capability.

According to DJ Koh, President and CEO of Samsung's IT & Mobile Communications Division, 'We believe the business mobility market is ripe for transformation in 2020 and we intend to be the leader in pioneering an open and collaborative mobile platform for the next generation of the digitally-enabled workforce.'

Galaxy XCover Pro Specifications

The Galaxy XCover Pro features a thin and light form factor, making it a traditional enterprise device. It is the most stylish and sleek rugged all-in-one mobile device on the market.

The device is IP68 water and dust resistant, capable of withstanding drops of up to 1.5m without a case. It is also MIL-STD 810G certified for reliable protection against extreme environmental conditions.

The Galaxy XCover Pro allows users to tailor their experience with two programmable keys, creating custom actions with just one click.
