January 13, 2020, marked a significant day for Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz as his ex-lover, Official Lyyn, opened up about their tumultuous relationship in a recent interview.
According to Lyyn, she was more than just a side chick to Diamond Platnumz; she was someone he was deeply in love with, to the point where she became pregnant with his child.
However, their relationship was put to the test when Diamond's mother expressed her disapproval of Lyyn, citing Zari as the perfect daughter-in-law she wanted for her son.
Lyyn's pregnancy loss at five months marked the beginning of the end of their relationship, and the two have since rarely seen eye to eye.
During the interview, Lyyn revealed that her parents were initially okay with her dating Diamond Platnumz, despite him being married, as he is a Muslim and Lyyn would have been allowed to live like his wife.
