Published on January 13, 2020, Strathmore Leos and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST RFC) maintained their hopes of playing in the Kenya Cup after a successful second leg of the 2019-2020 KRU Championship.

Strathmore Leos extended their unbeaten run to 10 matches with a 37-7 victory over Egerton Wasps, thanks to a hat-trick of tries from Lucas Opal and two conversions, as well as Walter Oteku's double and Jack Angawa's try.
