Seahawks' Late Surge Falls Short ¶
Despite a valiant effort from Russell Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks ultimately fell short in their bid to catch up to the Green Bay Packers. The Seahawks trailed by 21 points at halftime, but Wilson's late surge brought them within striking distance.
Wilson threw for 190 yards and rushed for 64 yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Packers' strong performance. The Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but the Packers held on for the win.
The Packers dominated the game, outgaining the Seahawks 201-135 in total yards and winning in time of possession. Aaron Rodgers was efficient, completing 10 of 15 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. Aaron Jones carried the ball 13 times for 46 yards and scored two touchdowns.
The Seahawks will receive the ball to start the second half, but it will be a tough task to overcome the Packers' lead.
