Malindi Wife Catches Husband with Side Chick, Chaos Ensues ¶
Published on January 13, 2020
A dramatic scene unfolded in a Malindi hospital when a married woman stormed in and attacked her husband's side chick, sparking chaos and raising questions about the use of witchcraft in relationships.
According to eyewitnesses, the wife had been tipped off that her husband was at the hospital with his mistress, and she arrived in a fit of rage, unleashing kicks and blows on the side chick.
The side chick, who was admitted to the hospital, tried to defend herself but was overpowered and beaten black and blue.
Some locals speculated that the wife may have used a witchdoctor, specifically Mugwenu, to track down her cheating husband.
Mugwenu, a 60-year-old witchdoctor from Tanzania, has gained notoriety for his 'kamuti' that can allegedly lock up philandering couples, making it impossible for them to engage in extramarital activities.
According to Mugwenu, his 'kamuti' works by locking up the cheating partner, making it impossible for them to have sex with anyone else, and only allowing them to have sex with their legal spouse.
One recent case involved a 56-year-old man who was stuck with his sister-in-law at a lodge in Mbale, after his wife Margaret sought Mugwenu's help to bust her philandering husband.
Mugwenu charges 48,000 Kenyan shillings to lock up philandering couples, and an additional fee to 'unlock' them.
While some people have praised Mugwenu's services, others have raised concerns about the ethics and legality of using witchcraft to control people's behavior.
As for the Malindi wife, she was reportedly seen storming into the hospital, breathing fire and causing a scene, before being restrained by hospital staff.
