On a fateful Christmas holiday weekend, a shocking incident unfolded in Chwele town, Bungoma County, leaving residents in awe.
A man, who had recently returned from the city, had suspected his wife of cheating on him and sought the help of a witchdoctor, Mugwenu, to place love charms on her.
The charms were designed to trap the wife in a compromising position with her lover, and the plan worked.
According to reports, the man lured his wife to a nearby bar, where they drank before heading to a room. It was there that the wife and her lover got stuck, unable to separate themselves.
The disturbing video of the incident went viral on social media, showing the wife crying and naked on top of her lover.
The husband, who had been warned by the witchdoctor that the charms would work, confronted the couple and reminded his wife of the consequences of her actions.
With the help of Mugwenu, the husband was able to separate the couple, but not before they compensated him with Ksh 450,000.
The husband's actions sparked a heated debate on the use of love charms and the consequences of cheating.
As for Mugwenu, his services are still in high demand, with many seeking his help to solve their relationship problems.
