While many Kenyans struggle to make ends meet, especially during the 'cursed' month of Njaanuary, the rich seem to be living it up.
According to reports, Jay Staxx and a city businessman, Tim Matiba, spent a staggering Ksh 303,000 and Ksh 86,650 respectively on alcohol in a single night.
The two were spotted at the iBury Lounge in Riverside, Nairobi, where they splurged on expensive drinks, including Bellaire Rare Rose 750 ml, Hennessy VSOP, and Hennessy VSOP GB COGNAC 1.5l.
The wholesale prices of these drinks are Sh 5k, Sh 8,500, and Sh 16,000 respectively, meaning the price is double in clubs.
Jay Staxx took to social media to show off the bill receipts, captioning it 'Light work.'
