Published on January 12, 2020, Kandara MP Alice Wahome has fired back at Embakasi East MP Babu Owino's threat to shave her hair if she continues to criticize President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Alice Wahome took to Twitter to respond to Babu Owino's threat, stating that he had become notorious for insulting leaders.
“Babu Owino, it was not enough to insult Uhuru Kenyatta, Mama Ngina, Alice Wahome and now Esther Passaris,” she wrote.
“You are unworthy of my response. Esther Passari is an honourable member. What are you?” she added.
Earlier, Babu Owino had threatened to shave Alice Wahome's hair if she continued to attack President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris intervened, terming Babu as a young MP who lacked respect for women leaders.
“Babu respect women. You can only shave your wife not a fellow legislator, or any other woman without their explicit consent,” Passaris wrote on Twitter.
“Any action to the contrary will be an act of defilement,” she added.
