Published on January 11, 2020, Crystal Palace's 1-1 draw against 10-man Arsenal in the Premier League was a thrilling match that saw Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang score for the visitors before being sent off.

Aubameyang struck in the 12th minute, steering a low shot past goalkeeper Vicente Guaita after he was put through by Alexandre Lacazette.

However, the visitors' lead was short-lived as Jordan Ayew levelled the score in the 54th minute with a heavily deflected shot that left keeper Bernd Leno stranded.

Aubameyang's rash tackle on Max Meyer midway through the second half forced the Palace forward to limp off injured and earned him a straight red card.

Despite being down a man, Arsenal continued to push for a winner, but Palace's numerical advantage gave them the upper hand in the closing stages.

Palace missed their best chance to grab a winner when Sokratis Papastathopoulos cleared a James Tomkins header off the line in the 78th minute.

They were let off the hook three minutes later at the other end as Guaita tipped Nicolas Pepe's fierce low shot on to the post and then smothered Lacazette's close-range follow up.
