January 11, 2020, marked a special day for popular actress Catherine Kamau, also known as Kate Actress, and her husband Philip Karanja, aka Phil, as they welcomed their first child together.
The couple, who tied the knot on November 17, 2017, at the Windsor Hotel, had been eagerly anticipated by their fans to start a family.
After keeping their pregnancy private, the actress and her husband announced the news in September last year and went on a romantic baby moon in the Maldives.
However, they decided to keep their baby girl hidden from the public eye, at least for now, as Catherine shared a cryptic message on social media, stating, “We are not hiding her from the world, just hiding the world from her. Such a cruel world? especially here on social media. Thank you for all the congratulatory messages. You shall meet her when we are ready??❤️. if ever?”
The couple's journey to parenthood has been a long one, with Catherine giving birth to her firstborn son at 19. Fans had been eagerly waiting for her to get pregnant for Philip, who adopted her 13-year-old son from a previous relationship.
