According to reports, the teacher was hacked and burned to ashes in front of her daughters while they were on a motorbike, heading to report to secondary school for the first term.
The incident has sparked outrage, with many Kenyans condemning the senseless act of violence.
Reacting to the incident, Ibrahim Mumin, the Teachers Service Commission secretary, stated that the commission strongly condemns the murder, saying there are better ways of resolving issues.
He added that the commission will not post any teacher to Ndooni Primary School until the security of their teachers is assured.
Two suspects, Wambua Mwangangi and Chris Kyalo Muli, have been arrested and arraigned in court in connection with the teacher's murder.
