January 10, 2020 - Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed his respect for Jose Mourinho, describing him as a 'world-class manager' who remains a threat to his side's unbeaten Premier League record.

Despite a 28-point gap separating the two teams, Klopp acknowledges Mourinho's ability to cause trouble for Liverpool, citing his past successes against the Reds with Chelsea and Manchester United.

'Jose Mourinho is a world-class manager with a specific mindset. I would say he wants to win with all he has. I respect that a lot,' Klopp said.

However, Klopp's side remains confident, with a 13-point lead over closest challengers Leicester and Manchester City, and a game in hand. Trent Alexander-Arnold, the player of the month, emphasized the importance of maintaining their focus and not getting over-excited about their position.

'We know we can't get too excited and we know that nothing has been won yet. If we want to be a successful team then we have to keep going until the end,' Alexander-Arnold said.

Meanwhile, Klopp confirmed that James Milner and Naby Keita will miss the trip to Tottenham due to muscle injuries, while Fabinho and Dejan Lovren are not yet ready to return but could be fit for the visit of Manchester United next weekend.
