On January 10, 2020, a video surfaced of Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali speaking in fluent Kikuyu in defence of his Gatundu South counterpart Moses Kuria's arrest.

Moses Kuria, a legislator known for controversy, was arrested on Friday evening for allegedly assaulting a woman at Royal Media Services.

The incident occurred on December 8, 2019, inside the Inooro FM radio studios during a political show, according to reports.

Detected by police from Westlands, Kuria was taken to Kilimani Police Division for processing.
