On the eve of her untimely death, Anjlee Gadhvi, a beloved K24 News anchor, turned to her faith for solace. In a poignant Instagram post, she shared a prayer to St Francis of Asisi, a revered saint known for his selfless acts of kindness.

Published on January 10, 2020, the post featured a serene image accompanied by the prayer, which read: "Lord make me an instrument of your peace, for it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Where there is hatred let me sow love, where there is doubt, faith, where there is despair, hope, for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life."

St Francis of Asisi, a revered figure in the Roman Catholic Church, is celebrated for his unwavering commitment to serving the poor and denying himself the comforts of wealth. Ms Gadhvi's prayer, a reflection of her own values, serves as a poignant reminder of her character.

Tragically, Anjlee Gadhvi passed away on Friday afternoon at the Aga Khan hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love and a family that includes her two daughters and husband, Noorani.
