K24 news anchor Anjlee Gadhvi has passed away after a long battle with cancer.
According to a statement from the hospital, Anjlee lost her fight with cancer on January 10th, 2019, at 1315hrs while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan hospital.
Her colleagues and fellow members of the fourth estate were in shock at receiving the news.
One of her last tweets was about the Boeing 737 that crashed in Iran on January 8th, 2020.
Her colleagues have taken to social media to express their condolences, with many praising her strength and positivity throughout her illness.
"It is with great sorrow to announce the demise, Anjlee Ghadvi, K24 Anchor and Cancer Warrior on Friday 10th day of January 2019 at 1315hrs while undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan hospital. May her soul rest in Eternal Peace."
