Egypt's Zamalek FC to Face ZESCO of Zambia in CAF Champions League

On January 10th, 2020, at 10:00pm, Zamalek Sporting Club, an Egyptian Football club founded in 1911, will face ZESCO United of Zambia in a CAF Champions League group match. The match will be televised by KBC Channel 1.

With five CAF Champions League titles under their belt, Zamalek is one of the most successful clubs in Africa. They have played in every season of the Egyptian Premier League and have never been relegated from the top flight league.

Founded in 1974, ZESCO United is a Zambian club that became the first Zambian club to qualify for the CAF Champions League Group stage in 2009. They hold an all-time unbeaten home record against non-Zambian opposition, along with Nkana FC and Green Buffaloes.

On the same night, KBC Channel 1 will air another CAF Champions League game between Al Hilal (Sudan) and Etoile (Tunisia) at 10:00pm on January 11th, 2020.
