Published on January 10, 2020, Rawbeena, a Finland-based Kenyan artist, has been making waves in the entertainment industry with her music and top-notch fashion.
Rawbeena, who grew up as an orphan among seven siblings, drew inspiration for her fashion from her challenging surroundings and the need to be comfortable while moving around.
She recalled her days of visiting Gikomba market, a place known for its vibrant atmosphere, and how it influenced her style.
‘I am a go-getter and in every way I have not been taught how to wear a skirt. I do not know how to slay, life hardened me because I had to go get what I wanted myself,’ Rawbeena said in an exclusive interview with Mpasho.
