January 10, 2020 - The law has caught up with Moses Kuria, the Member of Parliament for Gatundu South, who has been arrested over allegations of physically assaulting Royal Media Services radio presenter Joyce Wanja, popularly known as Wagichungumwa.

The incident is said to have occurred on December 8, 2019, during a heated panel discussion on Inooro TV's Kirerebe, where Kuria was a guest.

According to police records, Wagichungumwa claims Kuria 'slapped her on her left upper arm' after she was asked to retract distasteful comments he made about women.

Kuria had allegedly accused women of wearing smelly undergarments, sparking a heated exchange.

Wagichungumwa has since spoken out about the assault, claiming that Kuria's actions were unacceptable.

The drama between Wagichungumwa and Kuria has been making headlines, with many calling for his arrest.

As the story continues to develop, one thing is clear: the law is no respecter of position or power.
