Manchester United captain Ashley Young is set to leave Old Trafford this summer after being offered a one-year contract extension by the Premier League club.

However, the 34-year-old has turned down the offer and is pushing for a move to Inter Milan, where he would link up with Antonio Conte at the end of the current campaign.

According to Sky Sports, Inter Milan want to sign Young now, but would be willing to wait until the end of the season to get him for nothing.

Young has been with Manchester United since 2011, when he joined from Aston Villa for a fee of around £17m. During his time with the club, he has made 261 appearances and won several titles, including the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, and Europa League.

Despite being offered a contract extension, Young has been left out of the squad for several games this season, including the Carabao Cup semi-final against Manchester City.
