January 9, 2020, marked a significant milestone for nominated senator Isaac Mwaura and his family as their surviving triplet, Njiru, joined school.

After spending three months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Mwaura and his wife Mukami lost two of their triplets, but Njiru has grown strong and healthy.

As a father, Mwaura is thrilled to see his son take this significant step, and he shared his emotions in a heartfelt post.

'My son turns 3 years in a few days, and Mukami and I decided it's time he goes to school,' Mwaura wrote. 'Today, he reported to school, and it was emotional for both Mukami and me.'

Mwaura reflected on the changing times and how children are being sent to school at a younger age. He noted that in his time, he went to a boarding school at 4 years old, which was considered very young.

As Njiru starts his educational journey, Mwaura is aware of the responsibility that comes with it. He believes that fathers play a crucial role in shaping their sons into strong, masculine men who will positively impact the world.

'As a father, I want him to be a man. A strong man, a real masculine man; so that someday, he will also let his little son or daughter go responsibly,' Mwaura wrote.
