Maureen Waititu's words of wisdom on navigating the complexities of grief and self-discovery have resonated with many.

As she reflected on her own journey, she emphasized that 'grief is a process' that requires patience and understanding.

She noted that people often struggle with denial, anger, and other emotions as they work through their feelings, but it's essential to acknowledge and accept these emotions to move forward.

Waititu also stressed the importance of self-worth, advising people not to settle for less than they deserve. 'We settle because we don't know how much we are worth,' she said. 'Never settle, no matter how hard it is.'

She encouraged fans to be selfish with their time, peace, and resources, but to do so in a way that is not mean-spirited. 'Learn to have boundaries,' she advised. 'Sometimes you have to ignore a situation that won't work with you.'

Waititu also cautioned against comparing oneself to others, as social media often presents a curated version of success. 'Stop comparing yourself with others,' she said. 'I'm a living example. All my colleagues are advocates of the High Court. I become a mother and I have a different journey.'
