As the festive season approaches, I find myself in a delicate balancing act to convince my wife, Queen, that I'm still in her good books. With enemies of my marital bliss on the prowl, I'm constantly on edge, trying to meet her Christmas demands.

But what my enemies don't know is that Queen is a live-in pastor, and her calendar is filled with church activities. Her fanatical inclinations have earned her a reputation as a woman of strong faith, and I'm often grouped with her enemies as a dark force.

However, Queen's dedication to her church and chamas has given her a sense of purpose and security. She's the treasurer of numerous chamas in the region and has a close relationship with the manager of the Kenya Women Finance Trust in Aberdare. While I'm not sure what she gains from these associations, I wish she'd use her influence to get a smart phone, which would make my life easier.

But Queen's priorities lie elsewhere. Her estate shop, Favour Supermarket, is a distant third in her diary, and I've lost the battle to convince her to use the profits for our benefit. Instead, the money ends up in the pockets of her bishop, who uses it to fund his own interests.

As I prepare for Christmas, I'm left to wonder if I'll ever rank higher in Queen's priority list. But despite the challenges, I'm determined to find ways to meet her demands and enjoy a merry Christmas with her at Aberdare Springs Resort.
