On January 3, Citizen TV presenter Willis Raburu shared the heartbreaking news of the loss of their unborn child, leaving his wife Marya in a state of immense pain and grief.
Days later, Marya penned a deeply emotional post, taking issue with God for 'leaving her in her time of need.'
She noted that people have been encouraging her to turn to God, but she always trusted Him, only to find out that He didn't prove Himself when she needed Him most.
"Everyone is so quick to tell me about God. What they don’t know is that every way I knew Him, He was tested and He didn’t prove Himself," Marya wrote.
She added that she does not know God and doesn’t want to know Him, saying, "So, as they say, you should know God for yourself, I now can say, I don’t know Him. And I don’t think I want to know him coz He left me when I needed him the most."
Willis and Marya lost their unborn baby after Marya developed complications that resulted in a stillbirth.
Willis Raburu had earlier taken to social media to share his heartbreak, saying, "Over the past few days my heart has been shattered and torn in to several pieces. The pain I have felt has been immeasurable and one that words fail to aptly capture. It has left me with several questions and literally reset my outlook on life."
