At the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sony Corporation showcased its commitment to innovation and creativity.

According to Kenichiro Yoshida, President and CEO of Sony, the company plans to 'fill the world with emotion' through the power of creativity and technology.

During the event, Sony unveiled its latest offerings and new developments from its electronics and entertainment businesses, including the PlayStation 4, which had sold over 106 million units worldwide, and the PlayStation Network, which had reached 103 million monthly active users.

Additionally, Sony showcased its new logo design and cutting-edge technology and features of the upcoming PlayStation 5, set to launch during the holiday season.

Mr. Yoshida also highlighted the importance of mobility as the next mega-trend, following mobile, and demonstrated this vision with a prototype vehicle incorporating advanced imaging and sensing technologies for safer and more reliable autonomous driving.

Throughout the display, Sony's booth featured a range of initiatives that harness the power of creativity and technology, under the theme of sustainable value creation, aligning with its corporate direction of 'getting closer to people.'

Revolutionizing the Viewing Experience

Exhibits showcased Sony's pursuit of technologies that enable creators and users to deliver 'reality' and 'real-time' experiences, including high-resolution video and sound in three-dimensional space, and various combinations of these technologies.
