At the CES 2020, HP unveiled its Elite Dragonfly G2, one of the first laptops to support 5G networks, published on January 8, 2020.
The new release features 10th-generation Intel Core vPro processors, replacing the 8th-generation Intel chipset found in the previous iteration.
HP has also integrated a Qualcomm X55 modem into the Elite Dragonfly G2, enabling 5G connectivity.
With 5G support, the HP Elite Dragonfly G2 is a must-have for workers who want fibre broadband speeds, making it ideal for remote work.
HP has committed to adding support from more mobile networks in the coming months.
According to the Express UK, the HP Elite Dragonfly G2 is the first laptop to ship with built-in support for Tile's industry-leading Bluetooth tracking technology.
This feature allows users to track the movements of their notebook from the Tile app and receive alerts when it leaves pre-designated areas.
HP has also prioritized sustainability, with more than 82% of the mechanical parts made from recycled materials.
The Elite Dragonfly G2 is the world's first laptop made of ocean-bound plastic, as stated by HP.

The HP Elite Dragonfly G2 boasts 24 hours of battery life, outperforming the Surface Laptop 3 and MacBook Pro.
It is a lightweight device, weighing less than 1kg, making it easy to move around.
The laptops are expected to be available in the market by late summer.
During the CES event, Lenovo also launched a 5G-powered PC, supporting both millimetre wave full-band and sub-6GHz 5G networks.
