On January 8, 2020, Marya Prude shared a poignant post on her social media platforms, opening up about the devastating loss of her unborn child through stillbirth.
Her emotional words revealed a deep-seated crisis of faith, as she struggled to come to terms with the pain and loss she had endured.
“Everyone is so quick to tell me about God, what they don’t know is that every way I knew Him was tested and He didn’t prove Himself. So as they say you should know God for yourself. I know can say I don’t know Him. And I don’t think I want to know Him coz He left me when I needed him the most,” Marya Prude wrote.
Willis Raburu, Marya's husband, had taken a break from work and his duties at Citizen TV, citing the unbearable pain of losing their child.
The couple had married in 2017 in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family.
