'She Took Away Everything' - Pastor Misiko's Suicide Note Reveals Marital Woes ¶
On January 8, 2020, a shocking murder-suicide in Mombasa left the community reeling. The incident involved Pastor Elisha Misiko, a 55-year-old preacher at Ground for God's Gospel Ministries church in Bamburi. A 17-page suicide note, titled 'Betrayal and its consequences,' has since emerged, shedding light on the troubled life of the deceased.
According to the note, Pastor Misiko listed 18 instances where his wife, Ann Mughoi Maghanga, allegedly betrayed him. The allegations included infidelity, financial exploitation, and emotional distress. The preacher claimed that his wife had taken away everything they had accumulated as a couple over 19 years, including their children and family property.
One of the most disturbing revelations was Pastor Misiko's claim that his wife had accused him of sleeping with her sister. He also alleged that his wife had taken away their children and forced him to pay for child support. The preacher noted that he was crushed when one of his children sent a message claiming that 'they had found a good father who took care of them.'
Furthermore, Pastor Misiko claimed that his wife had taken away his plot of land and church equipment by force. He also alleged that she had written on social media that he didn't pay fees or buy clothes for their children, despite sending 90% of his money to her.
As the investigation into the murder-suicide continues, the contents of Pastor Misiko's suicide note have raised questions about the state of his marriage and the potential consequences of his wife's actions.
