Money can be a powerful motivator, but it can also be a source of conflict and violence.

One family in Mombasa is embroiled in a bitter feud over a hardware business, with the second-born son, Ahmed Issak, at the center of the dispute.

According to Ahmed, his brother and nephew conspired against him after he was named as the head of the business, which had flourished following their father's death.

Death Threats and Fear

After a cashier hired by Ahmed was shot dead while running a bank errand, Ahmed began receiving death threats from unknown numbers.

He claims that a hit man was hired to kill him at the airport, where he had gone to pick up his daughter.

Police Inaction

Despite reporting the matter to the police, Ahmed claims that he has not received any help from Makupa Police Station.

He has since opted to seek assistance from the CID, but alleges that the officer appointed to investigate the case has been bought out by the suspects.

Ahmed's case is currently pending, but he is living in fear of losing his life and the business he has worked hard to achieve.

His good deeds, however, continue to follow him, as he is known to be a kind man who helps and looks after the homeless.
