January 7, 2020, marked a day of luxury for some Kenyan students as they arrived at Pembroke House School in Gilgil, Nakuru county, via a chartered flight.

The photo of the students alighting from the plane sparked a mix of reactions online, with some parents proudly sharing their experiences at the school.

For those who can afford it, Pembroke House School offers a British curriculum education to children aged 2-13, with boarding facilities available for students in years 3-8.

The school's tuition fee is a staggering Sh 2.1 million, but for some parents, it's a price worth paying for their children's education.

As one proud parent, Mũrĩu Wa Njuguna, exclaimed, 'My son is still on the plane tho, just wait for him to come out. Keep working hard guys and God will open doors for you like he did for me.'

Others, like Patrick Amin, praised the school's affordability, saying, 'I love this school…their tuition fee and flight fee is affordable. My son is in Grade 3.'
