According to reports, Kamene and Kibe, the current hosts on Kiss FM's morning show, are earning significantly less than their predecessors, Adelle and Shaffie.
Adelle, who left Kiss FM in 2014, reportedly earned half a million Kenyan shillings between 2013 and 2014, before her salary was increased in the following years.
Shaffie, who also left Kiss FM, earned around Ksh 700,000 before joining Homeboyz radio.
By contrast, Kamene and Kibe are each reportedly earning slightly less than half a million Kenyan shillings.
The news comes as no surprise, given the controversy surrounding Kamene and Kibe's morning show, which has been criticized for being 'vulgar' and 'lacking content'.
It has also emerged that Xtian Dela, a popular Kenyan multi-talented personality who worked at NRG radio before joining Kiss FM, was fired due to misconduct.
According to reports, Xtian became rude and arrogant to staff and management at NRG, due to his close relationship with Kamene and Kibe.
