On his 27th birthday, Bahati and his wife Diana Marua enjoyed a romantic evening in a hotel room, where they chased away the crew to have some quality time together.
Before heading out for dinner, Bahati popped a champagne bottle that took him almost 10 minutes to open, leaving his wife in stitches.
As they sipped their champagne, Bahati asked Diana to sing 'Happy Birthday' to him, joking that if she did a good job, she should be signed to EMB Records.
However, Diana's singing skills were met with a dose of reality when Bahati's manager responded, saying, 'Sahi we are not signing any more artistes to EMB. We are satisfied with the few we have.'
Undeterred, Diana offered to sing for free, and after clearing her throat, she dedicated the song to Bahati.
But the real entertainment came when Bahati threw shade at fellow artiste Vera, saying, 'At least you've sung better than Vera.'
It's clear that Bahati's birthday celebration was one for the books, filled with laughter, love, and a healthy dose of sarcasm.
