Published on January 7, 2020, Kisumu All-Stars have made a drastic decision to sack their head coach Henry Omino, amidst a streak of poor performances that have left the club fighting for survival in their debutant year in the Kenya Premier League.

The club's CEO, Nicholas Ochieng, confirmed that they have parted ways with three members of the technical bench, including Omino, goalkeeper coach Joseph Ongoro, and assistant coach Andrew Oroka.

According to Ochieng, Omino will be replaced by German-Based coach Arthur Opiyo on an interim basis, while Francis Oduor will remain as the Assistant Coach.

"We have asked Omino to step down as the head coach after a series of poor performance in the league. He will be joined by one assistant coach and the goalkeeper trainer as we look to recruit new members of the technical bench," Ochieng said.

With eight points from 15 games, Kisumu All-Stars are currently placed at position 16th in the table, having won two, drawn two, and lost 11 matches.
