Jackie Matubia, a former Tahidi High actress, has parted ways with Switch TV after a year and a half as a presenter.
On Monday, Matubia announced her departure on social media, thanking the platform and her fans for their support.
"Good morning lovely people it was an honour gracing your screen #Chatspot serving you tea and interacting with you guys…. Thank you @switchtvke for the platform. To my fans I love you guys and will be gracing the screens soon bigger and better… Tuzidi," she wrote on Instastories.
Matubia's exit from Switch TV comes amid a highly publicized breakup with her pilot husband, Kennedy Njogu alias Nyogz.
Reports of infidelity by both parties led to their marriage being put on life support, with Matubia confirming they split in March 2019. However, she denied cheating allegations from her end, stating she was seeing someone after they went their separate ways.
Nyogz downplayed the breakup, wondering what the fuss was all about and suggesting that Matubia was more talkative and could provide more information.
